Sandcastles
When you have played tennis 10 times in 5 days what do you have to do? Get outta town fast. So mary and i took a trek to the wold championship international SANDCASTLE CHAMPIONSHIP on fort meyers beach. Nice drive through beautiful state parks and over lovely bridges with boaters and kayakers having fun below and we park on LOVERS KEY. The the trolley takes us to the event.
Mary supplied the beach hats. Well worn and sun damaged like us. Everyone on the trolley loved our hats. The day was complete with a beer at pinchers crab shack, learning how to make sandcastles, a swim in the ocean a bird watching walk, a free tshirt from ‘the river fm radio and topped off with a lunch at a cuban cafe where we had fried sweet plantains and another crispy kind of thing and hot sauce and an awsome garlic lime sauce and tamales. Gosh you gotta love this life eh
